Damaged Items We carefully pack all orders to ensure that your items arrive to you in the best condition. In the event your item arrives damaged or is faulty you must contact us immediately in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of receipt of the goods to obtain a returns approval number. All items must be returned with this approval number within 7 days of receipt. Images must be provided for damaged or faulty items.
Change of Mind
If your purchase arrives and you have changed your mind, you must contact us in writing within 7 days of receipt of goods at email@example.com to obtain approval. All returns for change of mind are at the discretion of French Chateau. Sorry we do not refund.
If your request to return an item is approved, you may return it to us with the Approval Number with the item in it’s original “new and unused” condition within 3 days of approval. New and unused means, all original tags attached and items unworn and unsoiled. We are unable to accept items that are not in the original sale condition. We reserve the right to refuse a product that we consider does not meet these requirements.
You will be offered a replacement or a gift voucher for change of mind purchases, not including the original freight charge.
Please note that sale items are fully non refundable or exchangeable unless the item is faulty. All returns must be posted at your expense to:

At French Chateau we aim to complete all online orders as soon as possible, in conjunction with our online store we operate a retail store at 147 Hunter Street Newcastle NSW 2300. Whilst all stock levels are correct at time of purchase, their may be a time items are brought both in store and online, if this happens to you you will be notified immediately, at that time you will be able to choose from an alternate product of the same value or a full refund of the purchase price of the unavailable item.
All items are sent with Australia Post $10 flat rate.
For extremely bulky orders or remote locations there may be a surcharge, this is unusual, and you will be contacted for your approval of the additional cost before the items are sent.
Furniture is pick up from our Newcastle store, local delivery may also be available for an additional charge. If you live outside of the Newcastle/Hunter area and purchase a piece of Furniture shipping can be arranged for you please contact us for freight charges.
